NTPC has been conferred with the gold award in the category of CSR Waste Management Programme at the prestigious CSR Health Impact Awards - 2023 held under the aegis of IHW Council in New Delhi on 14th July 2023.
Shri Neeraj Kapoor, GM (CSR/R&R/LA), and Shri Promod Kumar Sahu, AGM (CSR), received this award from Dr Kiran Bedi, Former Lt. Governor of Puducherry.
This award was given to NTPC for Municipal Solid Waste management project in Varanasi. Participating as a panel speaker, AGM (CSR) spoke on "Transforming the CSR Landscape in India" in which he highlighted about NTPC's commitment towards its sustainable CSR practices and value proposition towards the society and women empowerment.
