NTPC has been awarded “Technology Transfer Award 2022” in Generation Sector, by Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), US for incorporating Assessment and Benchmarking Tool for Flexible Operations. The Generation Technology Transfer Awards recognizes leaders and innovators who have applied EPRI research and technology to produce significant results.
NTPC supported EPRI with a DOE collaborative project to help develop, demonstrate, and disseminate high-level flexibility and assessment benchmarking tool that has now been shared globally under EPRI guidance in multiple countries and in the hands of more than 150 companies. The award was received by Shri Ramesh Babu V, Director (Operations), at a function held in Chicago, US on 19th September 2023.
