NTPC Ltd. pays Second Interim Dividend of Rs. 2,424 crore for FY 2024-25

New Delhi, 18th Feb 2025: NTPC Ltd. paid the Second Interim dividend of Rs. 2,424 crore on 18th   February 2025, being 25% of the paid-up equity share capital of the Company. 

This is in addition to the First Interim dividend of Rs. 2,424 crore paid in November 2024.

The total dividend paid during the financial year 2024-25 is Rs. 8,000 crore, which includes Final Dividend for the financial year 2023-24 of Rs 3,152 crore paid in September 2024.

This is the 32nd consecutive year that NTPC Ltd. has paid dividend.

NTPC to Host Indian Power Stations O&M Conference (IPS 2025) at Raipur

New Delhi, 11th February 2025: NTPC Ltd., India’s largest integrated power utility, is set to organize the Indian Power Stations O&M Conference (IPS 2025) from 13th to 15th February 2025 in Raipur. 

The annual conference commemorates the commissioning of NTPC's first thermal power unit at Singrauli in 1982— a historic milestone that paved the way for decades of excellence in the power sector.

NTPC Group touches 350 billion units power generation mark in FY 2024-25

New Delhi, 21st January 2025: NTPC Group achieved fastest ever 350 Billion Units (BU) generation on 20th January 2025 in FY 2024-25. This milestone is achieved in just 295 days, which is 11 days earlier as compared to the last financial year. In FY 2023-24, the company had crossed 350 BU generation on 31st January 2024.

This accomplishment reinforces NTPC's commitment to delivering reliable and affordable power to the Nation.

NTPC-CEB JV finalizes landmarked Tariff for large-scale solar PV power project in Sri Lanka

New Delhi, 21st January 2025: The joint venture (JV) between NTPC Limited and the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), TPCL (Trincomalee Power Company Limited, a 50:50 JV company registered in Sri Lanka) is developing a 50 MW (extendable to 120 MW) solar project in Sampoor, Trincomalee, Sri Lanka and has finalized a landmark tariff for the project after rounds of deliberations with various stakeholders in Sri Lanka.
